Having permission to talk to someone, actually having their attention, is a privilege. Always remember this so you don’t waste your opportunity.
Put your audience first. Start with empathy. Keep it enjoyable. Make it useful. Don’t over complicate things. And never forget how significant it is that someone is listening.
